Why Bengals?

Bengal cats captured my heart from the moment I first encountered them during my undergraduate studies in science.  It wasn’t just their beauty that intrigued me—it was their wild essence, intelligence, and the unique bond they form with their families. That initial fascination stayed with me, tucked away as a dream while I balanced my career and family life.

After completing my Bachelor of Science, the allure of the bengal breed never faded. Over the years, I delved deeper into researching these magnificent cats, learning everything I could about their characteristics, genetics, and care requirements. My scientific background fueled my curiosity, and the more I discovered, the more certain I became that bengals were the breed I wanted to dedicate myself to.

Eventually, I made the leap and purchased my foundation Bengals, embarking on an incredible journey that would lead to the establishment of Lecruz bengals. What started as a small passion project quickly grew beyond my expectations. Our cattery has expanded exponentially, driven by a commitment to excellence and a desire to produce bengals that are not only stunning in appearance but also healthy, well-tempered, and a joy to live with.

 

Through years of hands-on experience and continuous learning, our knowledge of the breed has deepened. We’ve built a reputation for raising Bengals that embody the best of the breed—those who possess the wild look of their ancestors but with the affectionate, playful nature that makes them perfect companions. For us it’s not just about breeding cats; it’s about nurturing a passion and sharing the joy of this extraordinary breed with others
