FAQ'S

For more information please contact us directly—we’re always happy to chat about bengals!

What makes bengals different?

Bengals are not your typical moggy. Bengals are known for their wild appearance, striking rosetted or spotted coats, and playful yet affectionate personalities. They are highly intelligent, energetic, and love interactive play.

Do you offer payment plans?

We may offer payment plans on a case-by-case basis. However, full payment must be completed before the kitten leaves for their new home.

Are they hypoallergenic?

While no cat is truly hypoallergenic, bengals produce less of the Fel d 1 protein, which is responsible for most cat allergies. Some allergy sufferers find bengals more tolerable, but we recommend spending time with one before deciding.

Do Bengal cats get along with other pets?

Yes, Bengals can coexist with other pets, including dogs and other cats, if properly introduced. Their playful nature often makes them great companions for active pets.

Are Bengals good with children?

Bengals can be great with children who respect their space and play appropriately. They thrive in active households but are best suited for kids who understand how to handle a cat gently and interact respectfully.

Can we visit prior to choosing a kitten?

We are a closed cattery, meaning we are not open to the public for general visits. This policy is in place to protect the health and well-being of our cats and kittens

Are kittens litter trained before going home?

Yes - All of our kittens are fully litter trained before leaving for their new homes. We use high-quality litter (Breeders choice) and recommend continuing with the same type to ease the transition.

Can I breed my kitten?

All kittens sold as pets are desexed prior to leaving and come with pet-only registration. Breeding rights are only granted to registered, ethical breeders who meet our strict criteria.

Do Bengals meow alot?

Bengals are very vocal cats and will communicate with chirps, trills, and loud meows, especially when they want attention. Their talkative nature makes them very expressive!

What if I cant pick my kitten up on the scheduled date?

We ask that all adopters be ready to welcome their kitten on the agreed-upon date. If you need additional time, boarding may be available at an extra cost.

I live in an apartment - Can I still own a bengal?

Yes! Bengals can adapt to apartment living as long as they have plenty of enrichment, scratching posts, and high spaces to climb. A cat wheel or outdoor enclosure is highly recommended for extra exercise. We request that any balconies are netted or alternativly locked and access restricted.
